ISRT  Remedial Technicians Training Course

The ISRT remedial technicians training course is a two day event for those working in the remedial industry.

The couse will give a full introduction into damp proofing and timber treatment to include structual water proofing, tanking applications, condensation control and treatment and understanding of dry rot.

Day 1:
 
Damp Proofing

• Introduction into the cause of dampness in buildings
• DPC Installation: Science and practical applications  
• Use of Damp proofing cream  
• Renders and tanking products and their applications  
• Heath & safety and COSH  
• Condensation and its control
• Positive pressure units

Day 2:

Timber Treatments

• Types of Wood Boring Insects
• Loft and sub floor treatments
• Ventilation and use of air vents  
• Fungal Decay dry and wet rot and their treatments
• Water based products
• Solvent based products
• Deep kill pastes and Boron
