About The Damp Proofing Association (DPA)

The function of the DPA is to provide contact details of professional contractors to members of the public or commercial companies that require our member services.

We are also available to provide information about companies and manufactures and their products. The DPA has extensive knowledge of the industry and can also advise if a quote is fair and reasonable and if the company offering that quotation is solvent.

Simply email any supporting information for a free opinion or assessment, we can also recommend one of our members to provide an alternative quotation.

Email alanjohnson@dampproofingassociation.com and please include a land line telephone number.

Using a DPA member eliminates so many risks associated with Yellow Pages or the internet.

Membership of the DPA is open to individuals, surveyors, existing damp proofing companies and organisations. They must have a professional attitude and an interest in achieving and maintaining our standards of customer service and property care.

If you’re considering Damp Proofing, Structural repairs, Basement Conversions or Timber Treatment is absolutely essential to use a Member of a professional Trade association.

If a contractor is not an Association member there’s normally a reason and that could be failing entrance requirements or vetting process.

Using a DPA member gives you full reassurance of technical ability and that prices are fair and reasonable.
